The washer and dryer in this home in Glastonbury, CT were originally enclosed in a kitchen closet. As part of a complete kitchen remodel the homeowner wanted the closet removed. This built-in cabinet is designed and built to enclose a washer and dryer while still providing storage that would be useful in a kitchen. The cabinet has a painted finish and a solid cherry countertop. The beadboard backsplash has a removable panel to access the water shutoff valve. The cabinet is built with recessed flat panel doors and crown molding at the ceiling. We design and install custom built-in cabinets in Glastonbury and surrounding towns.
